Unknown Pleasures 2008 was Threshold, Marc Rees's haunting elegy from the dilapidated Palace Theatre in Swansea. Exploring personal memories and alluding to the building's strange, wonderful and sad histories, Threshold was a surreal homage built upon decaying artefacts, architectural musings, film footage, decapitated Disco heads and adulterated high-energy dance anthems.
